How to back up Bookmarks in Google Chrome?
It is a good idea to backup your favourites/bookmarks of the web browser you use, just in case there is a problem with your PC that forces a rebuild or if your PC needs to be replaced. Follow this guide to backup your Bookmarks saved in Google Chrome.
- Click the three-dot Settings icon in the top right of Chrome
- Hover over "Bookmarks" and then click on "Bookmarks Manager"
- Click on the three-dot Settings icon in the top right
- Then select "Export Bookmarks"
- Navigate to the location you would like to store the backup, name the file, and select "Save."
Note:
To import the backup file (for example on a new computer), instead of clicking Export in step 4, click on Import and follow the steps to point to your backup file.
