How to license SMART Notebook using your email account? Note: This only applies to certain schools who have chosen to go via the user licensing option. Open SMART Notebook from the start menu, you will be prompted with a message similar to the image below, please click on SMART Account A web browser will open to a window similar to the image below, please click on Sign in with Microsoft After clicking on Sign in with Microsoft, you will be presented with a page (seen in the image below) that will ask you to sign in, please use the same username and password as your School Email; Next, you will be asked to give permission to link SMART Account with your School Email account (as seen in the image below), please click on Accept Next, you will be presented with a screen asking you to set a display name (as seen in the image below). Please enter your display name using the following format Initial and surname, for example, if your name is Joe Bloggs, your display name would be J Bloggs. Please close the web browser when you see a message saying “You’re all set!” and close any activation windows. You may be required to close and reopen SMART Notebook for the activation process to complete. You should only have to complete the account linking procedure once but you may be required to log into SMART Notebook on any machine on which you use the application.
